White elephant or Brecks asset? Assessing the development options
for Brandon Country Park.
A detailed analysis of the East Anglia tourist market permitted a dispassionate
evaluation of this Country Park’s benefits and visitor performance.
From this an objective forecast of the Park’s visitor potential and
tourist income was provided, enabling councillors to assess whether to invest
in the scheme.

In parallel with the marketing project the consultant commissioned and oversaw the preparation of a Brecks visitor centre display project that was also favourably received (link Brandon CP).
Outcome
Along with District and County Council funding, Lottery Fund monies were secured
and the project will commence
in 2006.
