Corporate Strategy
Developing a District-level strategic plan. The consultant
worked alongside the District’s senior management team to assist them
and their team leaders in the production of England’s first District
Strategic Plan responding to a completed Regional Forest Framework. This was
a complex task as over 90 staff are involved in seven teams delivering a combined
annual turnover approaching
£5 million.
The planner conceived the strategic rationale, produced a draft vision,
an outline plan and proposed the format for the strategy development process.
Once approved by senior management the consultant steered the strategy planning
process amongst the team leaders, then oversaw preparation of the draft
plan and its presentation to the key stakeholders. Subsequently he helped
with the collation and presentation of the final documents.
