Communications Strategy for the Regional
Forestry Framework
Developing a readable and stimulating regional woodland strategy.
The consultant was involved from the early stages and guided the entire consultation
and launch development process with a comprehensive 3-stage communications
strategy.
A campaign theme was developed: ‘Woodland for Life’. This slogan
was featured throughout the campaign.

Introducing the theme and the thinking underpinning the strategy.
Stage 1 consisted of a 4-colour overview of woodland’s
benefits and the creation of a Woodland Strategy website..
Stage 2 was constructed to ensure widespread comprehension
of the issues/benefits during consultation.
Stage 3 launched the strategy
to a wide audience with a folder
and included a ‘ministerial’
version of the final strategy to support PR activity.
